How to remove what Minbar keeps about you: a connected YouTube, Instagram or TikTok account, a project, or your whole account or organisation. The privacy notice explains what Minbar keeps and why.
In Minbar:
Minbar then straight away:
The record that a video was posted, and the wording you wrote, stay in your Minbar project until you delete the project. Videos already posted stay on the platform until you remove them there.
You can also remove Minbar’s access from the platform’s side:
Removing access on the platform stops Minbar posting. When you remove Minbar in Instagram, or ask Instagram to delete your data, Instagram tells Minbar, and Minbar deletes what it kept straight away, as Disconnect does. YouTube and TikTok don’t tell Minbar: to have Minbar delete what it kept as well, press Disconnect too, or email support@minbar.co.uk.
Owners and editors can open the project and press Delete. This permanently deletes the project and everything stored for it: the uploaded videos and audio, the transcript, the reports, the finished videos and the clips. There is no undo.
Email support@minbar.co.uk from the email address you sign in with, with “Delete my data” as the subject. Say whether you want your own account deleted, or your whole organisation (only its owner can ask for that).
We’ll confirm it’s you, then delete it within one month and email you when it’s done. That deletes:
We keep only what the law requires, such as payment records for accounting. Activity and security records are deleted after a year in any case.
Email support@minbar.co.uk. You also have the rights set out in section 10 of the privacy notice.
